Hello! My name is Ariadna Lobo (Ari) and I graduated from the University of South Florida. I obtained my BA in International Business with a mention in Marketing and Japanese in 2013. Immediately after, I pursued my MS in Marketing as well as an MBA in Supply Chain and Logistics. I graduated Summa Cum Laude (GPA of 3.91+) in all of these. While in school, I participated in a study abroad in South Korea that lasted for about two months. In Korea, I went to one of the most prestigious universities in the region (Yonsei University). During my study abroad, I also did an internship for one of the major telecommunication companies in the country.

When I first applied to USF, I was in an international student. However, USF offered me a scholarship that granted me a "resident" status for paying purposes, which not only reduced my tuition costs, but also paid some of these. The other uncovered percentage of my tuition costs was paid by my Florida Bright Futures scholarship, which I earned due to my GPA and test scores in high school. Additionally, I earned multiple scholarships from the school of business at USF due to my academic record within the school. Moreover, my studies in Korea were also partially subsidized by a scholarship I won from the study abroad department. Therefore, USF incentivized me to keep myself in school and go above and beyond.

As for my extra-curricular activities in school, I opened a student organization for students to practice Korean and re-opened another concerned with promoting Korean culture. Both organizations are still up and running. The first organization also led to the creation of an academic course to teach the Korean language, a course that did not exist when I first entered school. In fact, this course is not offered by many universities throughout the nation. Besides these organizations, I also participated of others ranging from professional and academic to honor societies. Despite the fact that I was not able to do sports at USF, I used the gym and the pool within the same almost every day, to the point that I became interested in body building and am now leading a very healthy life.

Finally, I worked at the school as well. USF prides itself in offering many student jobs, and I took advantage of this. I worked at INTO at USF, a private company partnered with the school. In there, I was able to work with students from all around the world that were learning English. In addition to this, I also worked at the front desk for the Politics department at USF.

All of these areas are very important for students, and I can say that I am not only very satisfied with my experience, at USF but also very proud of being an USF bull!
